Air France Airbus A380 Makes Emergency Landing in Canada

Air France flight AF-66 made an emergency landing in Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, on September 30th.

The Airbus A380-800 plane heading from Charles de Gaulle Airport, France, to Los Angeles, California, was diverted after one of the engines suffered a serious damage.

The plane landed safely. All four hundred and ninety-seven passengers and twenty-three crew members remained unharmed.

Qantas Flight Diverts to Oman due to Medical Emergency

The Airbus A380 plane, heading from Melbourne, Australia, to London, United Kingdom, was diverted after a male passenger suffered a suspected heart attack.

The plane landed safely. However, authorities said the passenger had died before the plane touched down.

Qantas Airways Returns and Makes Emergency Landing in Australia

The Airbus A380, en-route to Dubai, UAE, was mid-air when the crew detected engine vibration issues, prompting it to return eight hours after taking off from Melbourne.

The plane landed uneventfully.

All 410 passengers onboard remained unharmed.

The Airbus A380, flying from Houston, Texas, to Frankfurt, Germany, was diverted after a passenger fell sick on-board.

The passenger was rushed to the hospital while the plane resumed its journey.

Emirates Plane Diverts to Perth due to Medical Emergency

An Emirates plane had to make an emergency landing in Perth, Western Australia, on December 1st.

The A380 plane was en-route from Auckland, New Zealand, to Dubai, UAE, when a passenger went into labor. There were two doctors on-board who helped her through her contractions while the pilot diverted to Perth.

The passengers said the woman did not speak English and the doctors had to use Google translate to communicate with her.

The plane landed safely. The passenger was rushed to hospital where she gave birth to a baby girl.

The delayed flight reached Dubai the next day.
