Small Plane Crashes in Florida due to Mechanical Issue

A small plane crashed into a marshy area near Orlando Apopka Airport, Orange County, Florida, on the night of December 30th.

The Cessna 400 had to abort its landing after spotting a deer on the runway. The plane faced mechanical issue after turning around.

The plane sustained significant damage.

The 61-year old pilot was taken to a nearby hospital for first aid.

Two Killed After Small Plane Crashes in Wisconsin

A small plane crashed near Fort Atkinson Municipal Airport, Wisconsin, on August 8th.

The plane was carrying two people when it crashed into the Rock River.

Both occupants of the plane were killed in the crash. The deceased include a 61-year-old man and his 16-year-old son.

The cause of crash is being investigated.

LGW Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter flight AB-8512 had to return and make an emergency landing at Berlin Tegel Airport, Tegel, Germany, on July 26th.

The de Havilland Dash 8-400 flying on behalf of Air Berlin to Salzburg, Austria, had to return due to some issue with its landing gear.

The plane landed safely.

All 61 people aboard remained safe.

Three Injured after Porter Airlines Plane Runs into Turbulence

porterPorter Airlines flight PD-720 made an emergency landing at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport in Toronto, Canada, on July 15th.

The plane was flying from Washington Dulles International Airport, Virginia, when it ran into severe turbulence that injured two flight attendants and a passenger.

The plane landed safely.

The plane was carrying 61 people at the time.

Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing at Sunken Meadow Park

A Cessna 152 plane made an emergency landing at Sunken Meadow Park in Suffolk County, New York, on March 11th.

The plane was on a training flight when its engine failed, forcing the pilot to land on the beach.

There were two people aboard, including the instructor Robert Keleti, 61, and a student Bar Eliran, 43; none of them were injured.

2 Killed as Small Plane Crashes Near Idaho-Wyoming Border

A small plane crashed in eastern Idaho near the Wyoming border, on January 4th.

Authorities said the vintage Yak 52 Russian trainer aircraft went down about 2 miles north of the Alpine Airport, Wyoming.

There were two people aboard, including Reade Genzlinger, 61, of Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania, and MacKenzie Ruston, 17, of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Both of them were killed in the crash.

The FAA is investigating.

Emirates Airways Flight Diverts to India after Medical Emergency

EmiratesEmirates Airways flight EK346 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Chennai International Airport, Chennai, India, on September 4.

The plane, flying from Dubai to Kuala-Lampur, Malaysia, was diverted after a 61-year-old person aboard suffered a heart attack mid-air.

The plane landed safely and all 116 passengers aboard remained unhurt.

The flight resumed after the sick person was transferred to hospital.
