SkyWest Airlines flight 4896 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Capital Region International Airport in Lansing, Michigan, on August 18th.

The plane heading from Detroit to Kalamazoo, Michigan, was diverted after the crew noticed a mechanical issue.

The plane landed safely. All forty-six passengers and three crew members aboard remained unharmed.

Envoy Air flight MQ-3322 had to make an emergency landing in Sioux City, Iowa, on May 22nd.

Flybe flight BE-783 had to return and make an emergency landing in Glasgow, Scotland, on February 23rd.

The plane took off for Birmingham, England, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew needed to shut down one of the engines.

Hop! Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in France

Hop! Airlines flight A5-3557 made an emergency landing in Strasbourg, France, on February 14th.

The plane was flying from Toulouse, France, when the captain declared an emergency, reporting that the first officer has become unconscious.

The plane continued for a safe landing. All 46 passengers aboard remained safe.

The first officer had regained consciousness before the landing. He was taken to hospital.

AA Flight Makes Emergency Landing at Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport

Two Dead after Small Plane Crashes in New Mexico

A small plane crashed near Ohkay Owingeh Airport in Rio Arriba County, New Mexico, on March 11th.

The single-engine Remos GX light sport airplane went down around 50 feet from the outer fence of the airport.

There were two people aboard the plane, including the pilot Karen Ann Young, 46, and the co-pilot Thomas Spickermann, 47; both of them were killed in the crash.

The FAA is investigating.

Loganair Flight Makes Emergency Landing at Sumburgh Airport

LoganairLoganair flight BE6780 had to make an emergency landing at Sumburgh airport in Scotland, United Kingdom, on December 23.

According to the airline, “Flight BE6780 carrying 46 passengers and three crew declared a mayday shortly before landing in Sumburgh last night… The captain received a fire caution indication from the port-side engine, which was shut down as is standard operating procedure… Passengers were briefed by the crew ahead of landing and the aircraft touched down safely.”

All the passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

The Saab 2000 was flying from Aberdeen at the time.
