<p>The incident happened when the plane was carrying valuables to a bank in Puerto Lempira from Goloson International Airport, La Ceiba. </p>
<p>All 4 people aboard died in the crash. The victims included 2 crew members and 2 security guards.  </p>

A Bell 407 helicopter carrying Honduran political candidate Juan Hernandez to a rally in Juticalpa developed mechanical problems. </p>
<p>The helicopter made noises indicating problems, fell, and lost its tail in Rio Abajo, Guaymaca.  No injuries were reported of the six aboard: Hernandez, wife Ana Garcia, the president of Honduras, Rafael Leonardo Callejas, mayor of Tegucigalpa, Ricardo Alvarez and campaign coordinator, Oscar Alvarez.</p>
<p>The helicopter crashed from low altitude.  No cause has been determined for the accident. <b>Where: </b>Santa Ana, Cerro de Hula Honduras<br />
<b>When: </b>Feb 14 2011<br />
<b>Who: </b>2 crew, 12 passengers, 14 fatalities<br />
<b>Why: </b> The Central American Airways flight from San Pedro Sula to Tegucigalpa  departed from San Pedro Sula at 07:04 for the 40 minute flight to Tegucigalpa and crashed at 8:02 in a forested area. </p>
<p>Crash victims include  labor leader, Israel Salinas Castellanos and Pedro Sula businessman Carlos Chahine, who served as minister Economy.  The plane&#8217;s captain was Eduardo Ernesto Pach Pineda, and co-pilot Andersón Mejía. Salinas Elvir and Rodolfo Rovelo were also killed in the crash.</p>

An indicator light that flashed on board the West Wind jet that instigated the decision to land. </p>
<p>Lobo was flying to New Orleans to sign scholarship agreements to support the  50 best students from low-income families who graduate from high school will be sent on scholarship to good U.S. universities.</p>

<b>When: </b> May 30th 2008<br />
<b>Who: </b>  124 passengers and 11 crew<br />
<b>Why: </b>  On landing at Tegucigalpa, the A320 overran the runway of Tegucigalpa Toncontin Airport&#8217;s runway 2. The crash occurred in bad weather.  Overrunning the runway, the plane continued to crash into a store and cars.</p>
