    What: Cimber Air Aerospatiale ATR-72-500 en route from Copenhagen to Aalborg
    Where: Kastrup Airport, Copenhagen
    When: May 18th 2010
    Who: 63 passengers and 4 crew
    Why: After takeoff, the plane lost a nose wheel when a wheel fell off after an axle broke. The plane returned to land at Kastrup. The landing was safe, and the passengers were rebooked on a subsequent flight.

    Denmark: Family tragedy in Piper

    What: Anlægsselskabet Dansk Nybyg Piper PA-28-151 Warrior en route from Laesoe island.
    Where: between Solsbæk and Sæby, North Jutland, Denmark
    When: April 5 2010
    Who: Two were hospitalized; remains of Niels and Bente Birch Nielsen recovered on the scene
    Why: The 35-year-old Piper PA-28-151 Warrior crashed into trees near Solsbæksvej (Solsbæksroad), between Solsbæk and Sæby, North Jutland. The parents were were killed and the two daughters (17 and 25) were taken to hospital with serious injuries. At the time of the crash, visibility was not good, and according to witnesses, the plane was flying low.

    Boeing Landing in Copenhagen

    What: Boeing 737 en route from western Denmark and was headed to Lanzarote in the Canary Islands
    Where: Copenhagen airport belonging to small Danish charter airline Jettime
    When: Friday
    Who: Plane with 147 (145?) people on board
    Why: Pilot reported a landing gear malfunction. Plane dumped fuel prior to landing at Copenhagen airport. Two Danish Air Force F-16 jets were sent up to check the plane and confirmed there was a problem with the landing gear. Plane touched down and safely taxied to a gate
