Air India Plane Overruns Runway at Jammu Airport

Air India flight AI-821 overran the runway during landing at Jammu Airport, India, on June 9th.

The incident happened when the Airbus A320-200 plane was coming from Delhi, India.

There were one hundred and thirty-four people aboard at the time; all of them remained uninjured.

The airline said the plane burst a tire on landing.

Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Dallas

A small plane made an emergency landing in Dallas, Texas, on February 11th.

Authorities said the pilot reported engine issues before the plane landed in a field near South Lancaster Road and Loop 12 in southeast Oak Cliff.

There were 2 people aboard at the time; both of them remained uninjured.

The plane was flying from Dallas Executive Airport at the time.

Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing at Russellville Municipal Airport

A small plane made an emergency landing at Russellville Municipal Airport, Arkansas, on December 20.

Authorities said the pilot requested an emergency landing after the plane’s landing gear failed to deploy.

The plane landed with the wheels up. The pilot, who was the the only one aboard, remained uninjured.

Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Maryland

A 1965 Mooney aircraft made an emergency landing at Tipton Airport, Maryland, on November 22.

The plane took off from Tipton Airport but had to return shortly afterwards after it lost power due to a mechanical fault. The pilot Paul Antoinette, 48, of Baltimore, was heading to Florida at the time.

The plane landed uneventfully in a grassy area near the runway. The pilot remained uninjured.
