Ethiopian Airlines Plane Overruns Runway at Entebbe Airport

Ethiopian Airlines flight ET-338 overran the end of the runway after landing in Entebbe, Uganda, on January 3rd.

The incident happened when the Boeing 737-800 plane was coming from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The plane came to stop on soft ground. All one hundred and thirty-nine people aboard remained uninjured.

Emirates Flight Attendant Dies After Falling Out of Plane In Uganda

A flight attendant fell out of an Emirates plane at Entebbe International Airport, Uganda, on March 14th.

The incident happened when the Boeing 777-300 plane was preparing to perform flight EK-730 to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The flight attendant suffered serious injuries. She was taken to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Eagle Air Flight Veers Off Runway After Rejecting Take Off From Yei, South Sudan

Eagle Air flight H7-360 veered off runway after rejecting take off from Yei, South Sudan, on April 1st.

The plane was accelerating to take off for Arua, Uganda, when the crew rejected take off due to an engine issue. The plane veered off the runway and came to stop in the bushes with its nose gear collapsed.

There were 17 passengers and 3 crew members aboard at the time; authorities said some of them sustained minor injuries.
