Turkish Airlines flight TK-1979 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Belgrade, Serbia, on May 26th.

The Boeing 777-300, en-route from Istanbul, Turkey, to London, England, was diverted after the crew found an un-attended smartphone.

The plane landed uneventfully. There were 300 passengers and 15 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained safe.

The plane was thoroughly checked for any other suspicious material.
