UPS Plane Rejects Takeoff in South Korea

UPSUnited Parcel Service flight 5X-61 had to reject takeoff at Incheon International Airport, Incheon, South Korea, on June 6th.

The McDonnell Douglas-11 was accelerating to takeoff for Anchorage, Alaska, when the crew had to abort taking-off at a high speed.

The plane received substantial damage after it overran the runway and had its nose gear collapsed.

CityJet Plane Makes Hard Landing in Italy

CityJetCityJet flight WX-281 made a hard landing at Amerigo Vespucci Airport, Florence, Tuscany, Italy, on March 23.

The Avro RJ-85, flying from London, England to Florence, landed on the runway but touched down hard.

The plane received substantial damage.

All people onboard remained safe.

The cause of the hard landing is being investigated.
