Bhutan Airlines Plane Aborts Landing in Kathmandu

bhutan-airlinesBhutan Airlines flight B3-771 performed a missed approach before landing in Kathmandu, Nepal, on October 15th.

The plane flying from Paro, Bhutan, was on final approach when the crew spotted a goat on the runway.

The crew initiated a standard missed approach and entered a hold while the airport crew removed the goat from the runway.

The plane landed safely. There were 68 passengers and 8 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained safe.

Small Plane Crashes in Ohio; 1 passenger Injured

A small plane crashed near Plain City in Union County, Ohio, on September 4th.

One person was removed from the plane and taken to hospital with injuries of unknown intensity.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
