SkyWest Airlines Plane Returns to California due to Landing Gear Issue

SkyWest Airlines flight OO-5025/UA-5025 had to return and make a safe emergency landing at Redding Municipal Airport, Redding, California, on July 13th.

The Canadair CRJ-200 en-route to San Francisco, California was climbing out of Redding’s runway when the crew failed to retract its landing gear.

The plane landed safely.

All people onboard remained unharmed.

The plane took off for San Francisco, California, but had to return shortly afterwards after its landing gear failed to retract completely.
