<p>The Tupolev Tu-154 plane had just taken off from the Adler airport, Sochi, when it suddenly disappeared from radar. The plane was en-route to the Hmeymim airbase in Latakia, Syria, for a New Year’s Eve concert.</p>
<p>All 92 passengers were killed in the crash.  </p>

<p>The plane ended up in an upside down position near 1600 block of Route 100. According to a witness Tyler Moyer, &#8220;We heard the engine stall, and then it started back up… The farmer was still picking the corn. The farmer didn&#8217;t even notice it, and the dust was flying everywhere from the tractors and stuff,&#8221;</p>
<p>The pilot, who was the only one aboard, was injured and was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital.</p>

<p>The DeHavilland DHC-3T Turbine Otter aircraft, carrying 10 people, went down while it was taking off from East Wind Lake.</p>
<p>Three people were killed in the accident. They were identified as 80-year-old Tony W. Degroot, of Hanford, California, 69-year-old James Specter, of Shavertown, Pennsylvania and 70-year-old James P. Fletcher, of Clovis, California.</p>
<p>Seven others were injured and were shifted to hospitals.</p>
<p>The plane belonged to Rainbow King Lodge.</p>

<p>The Cessna 172 was heading from Bolton to Wallace when it went down. North Carolina Wing Civil Air Patrol dispatched two aircrafts that found the wreckage at 1:15 a.m. on September 12.</p>
<p>The pilot, who was the only one aboard, was killed in the crash. He was identified as Gene Pierce, 76, of Duplin County.</p>

<p>There were 2 people aboard the plane, including the 52-year-old pilot Ken McKenzie and his 50-year-old wife Sonia. Both of them sustained non-life-threatening injuries.</p>

<p>The Weatherly 620B single-engine aircraft was spraying a potato farm when it crashed.</p>
<p>The pilot, who was the only one aboard, was killed the spot. His identity has not yet been released.</p>
