Bhutan Airlines Plane Aborts Landing in Kathmandu

bhutan-airlinesBhutan Airlines flight B3-771 performed a missed approach before landing in Kathmandu, Nepal, on October 15th.

The plane flying from Paro, Bhutan, was on final approach when the crew spotted a goat on the runway.

The crew initiated a standard missed approach and entered a hold while the airport crew removed the goat from the runway.

The plane landed safely. There were 68 passengers and 8 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained safe.

Druk Air Plane makes Emergency landing in India due to Technical Issue

drukairDruk Air flight B3-724 made an emergency landing at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, West Bengal, India, at around 4.47 P.M. on November 19.

The plane, en-route from Doha, Qatar, to Paro, Bhutan, landed in emergency due to some technical issue.

The plane landed uneventfully.

All 7 people aboard remained unhurt.

Bhutan Air Flight Lands in Emergency at Kolkata

A Royal Bhutan Airlines flight heading to Mumbai, India, from Paro, Bhutan, had to make an emergency landing at the NSC Bose International Airport, Kolkata at 9:30 a.m. on June 15.

An official at NSC Bose International Airport said that the captain sought permission to make an emergency landing because the windshield of the aircraft cracked while the flight was underway.

Airport authorities also confirmed that the plane landed safely and all passengers and crew remained unharmed.
