<p>According to public information officer for Ottawa Paramedic Service J.P. Trottier, &#8220;The person had no vital signs on board… There were some doctors on board and CPR was started. <p>The Boeing 777, heading to Hong Kong, was returned after a cargo door indicator light turned on.</p>
<p>The plane landed safely and none of the 349 passengers aboard was hurt.</p>

A WestJet flight, carrying 95 passengers and 6 crew members, had to make an emergency landing in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, on October 21.</p>
<p>Airline spokesman Robert Palmer confirmed that the flight was on its way from Edmonton to Toronto when the crew reported possible smoke in the cabin. The plane was then diverted to Thunder Bay for an emergency landing.</p>
<p>The Boeing 737 aircraft was taken for examination after it landed uneventfully. No one was hurt.</p>

<p>The Pilot who was the only person aboard survived with minor neck and back injuries. He was taken to Trenton Memorial Hospital. The plane, C-GAWJ, was registered out of Toronto.</p>
<p>The plane damaged hydro lines before it hit the road section and demolished its front engine compartment, wings and tail.</p>
<p>There are unconfirmed reports that the pilot attempted to avoid a crash landing into the Bay of Quinte and instead chose to land on the section of highway.</p>

<p>According to Ontario provincial police, 3 Americans have died in the crash; 2 of them were pronounced dead at the spot while the third succumbed to her injuries later on.</p>
<p>The victims were identified as Nikolas Rajala, 41, Teresa Rajala, 40, and Lynn Bohanon, 36. According to police the victims belonged to Grand Rapids, Minnesota, and were on a fishing trip when the crash happened. They were staying at a fishing lodge nearby.</p>
<p>Police located the downed plane after receiving an emergency locator signal from Chappie Lake.</p>
