    Dog Poop Prompts Emergency Landing in Kansas City

    US AirwaysA US Airways flight, on its way from Los Angeles to Philadelphia, had to make an emergency landing in Kansas City, Missouri, due to dog poop.

    The Flight 598 was midair when a large dog pooped in the plane’s aisle, atleast twice, making those sitting nearby physically ill.

    The flight crew did their best to clean up the aisle. Some passengers reported that the crew ran out of paper towels after they cleaned the mess for the first time. But the dog went again and the flight crew then did not have anything left to clean up the area.

    The stink started making the nearby passengers to vomit and dry heave, after which the plane was diverted to the Kansas City, where it made an uneventful emergency landing on May 28.

    A cleaning crew cleaned up the mess afterwards and the plane continued its journey to Philadelphia.

    Hawaii-bound United Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Los Angeles

    United Ailrines BoeingUnited Airlines flight 1296 en route from Los Angeles to Hawaii had to return and make an emergency landing at Los Angeles International Airport on May 10 due to the smell of smoke in the cabin and cockpit.

    The Boeing 757, with 149 passengers on board was flying over the Pacific Ocean when the odor was noticed in the plane.

    The plane made an uneventful emergency landing at 11:38 am. None of the passengers or crew members were injured.

    Maintenance crews are examining the plane.

    Some passengers said they experienced the scariest moments of their lives when they were told to keep their oxygen masks and life vests on. One of the passengers, Rebecca Elder said that the smoke was coming from both sides of the plane. She further said “We looked around the other passengers, everybody was very calm and really nice and helped each other out.”

    Sick Passengers Dies After AA Flight Makes Emergency Landing at O’Hare

    American AirlinesA 69 year old sick passenger traveling on American Airlines Flight 12 died shortly after the pilot made an emergency landing at O’Hare International Airport in order to provide the passenger medical care.

    American Airlines spokesperson Mary Frances Fagan said that the flight was en route from Los Angeles to New York when a passenger got sick. The pilot then decided to make an emergency landing at O’Hare to provide emergency medical treatment to the old man. The plane landed at about 4:45 p.m. on April 2, after which he was rushed to Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center. He was confirmed dead at 5:08 p.m.
