A small plane made an emergency landing on Highway 11 near Garland King Road in Duplin County, North Carolina, on December 21.
The pilot Richard Kenny said he was forced to land on the highway after his plane ran out of fuel. He was heading from Long Island, New York, to Orlando, Florida, at the time.
The plane hit a highway sign while landing. No injuries were reported.
