American Airlines Emergency Landing La Guardia

On Feb 17, 2013, an American Airlines McDonnell Douglas MD-83 en route from Dallas Ft Worth to La Guardia (NYC), aborted an approach and made a safe landing on the second attempt. The plane was about to land and dealing with windy conditions when it lost its flight control system.

The same plane had been reported with electrical problems two days before.
