Ultralight Plane Crashed in Australia; 2 Killed

An ultralight aircraft crashed at the runway of Hedlow Airstrip, near Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia, on the afternoon of November 25.

According to sources, 2 people lost their lives in the crash.

The Queensland Ambulance Service and firefighters responded at the scene.

The accident remains under investigation.

Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Florida; No Injuries Reported

A small plane made an emergency landing in Everglades, Florida, on November 13th.

The Cessna 152 plane, carrying two people, went down into a swamp on mile marker 47 near Tamiami.

According to Broward Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Mike Jachles, “When that airplane came down into the swamp, the two men told our firefighters that the nose gear head caused the plane to flip over.”

Both occupants of the plane remained uninjured.

LAX Conducts Plane Crash Drill to Test Emergency Response Time

Los Angeles International Airport conducted a full-scale plane crash simulation on April 13th.

The two-hour drill, which was conducted to test the emergency response time, used a Boeing 777 plane that crashed and caught fire in a debris field.

Around 500 emergency personnel, including firefighters, participated in the exercise, while 150 volunteers acted as crash victims.
