Pilot Dies in Small Plane Crash in Carroll County, Virginia

A small plane crashed in Carroll County, Virginia, on October 7th.

Authorities said Ralph C. Young, 65, of Fayetteville, West Virginia, was flying to Elkin, North Carolina, when his plane went down near the town of Fancy Gap. He was killed in the crash.

The cause of crash is being investigated.

Small Plane Crash-Lands in North Carolina after Losing Fuel Pressure

A small plane crash-landed in a field near Williford Road in Sharpsburg, Wilson County, North Carolina, on the afternoon of March 10th.

The plane was flying from Fayetteville to Washington, at the time.

The pilot, who was the only one aboard, was trying to make an emergency landing after losing fuel pressure.

The plane sustained significant damage.

The pilot remained safe.

AA Flight Makes Emergency Landing at Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport

american airlinesAn American Airlines flight had to divert and make an emergency landing at Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on April 14th.

The plane, heading to Peoria International Airport, Illinois, had to be diverted after the crew reported a hydraulic issue.

The plane landed safely. There were 46 people aboard at the time; all of them remained unhurt.
