The chartered flight K2 6242of Ukraine’s YanAir, operated by Polish Eurolot, made a safe emergency landing in the port of Burgas in Bulgaria on August 6.
The incident happened when the flight was heading from Antalya, Turkey to Poznan, Poland.
Eurolot spokeswoman Karolina Bursa said the pilot of the Airbus 320 “decided to make a landing because a need emerged during the flight to check one of the systems.” She also said that security protocols in such situations require landing at the nearest airport.
She further confirmed that the experts were checking a system that controls air conditioning and other things in the aircraft.
