IndiGo Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing After Bird Strike

An IndiGo Airlines flight had to return and make an emergency landing at Swami Vivekananda Airport in Chhattisgarh, India, on September 27th.

The plane took off for Kolkata, India, but had to return shortly afterwards due to a bird strike.

The plane landed back safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

IndiGo Flight Makes Emergency Landing due to Medical Emergency

IndiGo AirlinesAn IndiGo Airlines flight made an emergency landing in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India, on September 21st.

The plane heading from Kolkata, West Bengal, to Bengaluru, Karnataka, was diverted due to a medical emergency.

According to Director, Swami Vivekanand International Airport, Santosh Dhoke, “The aircraft landed here at around 2.30 PM to address the medical emergency after a family complained of a health problem suffered by their two-month old baby.”

The baby was rushed to hospital, however, he could not be saved.

Jet Airways Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Raipur

Jet AirwaysJet Airways flight S2 4121 made an emergency landing at Raipur airport in Chhattisgarh, India, on April 8.

The Mumbai-Raipur-Bhopal-Mumbai plane was forced to land in emergency after the pilot reported a snag due to flat nose tire.

The plane landed safely and was immediately grounded. All 160 passengers remained unhurt.

The next flight to Bhopal was cancelled.
