SkyWest Airlines flight OO-4620 had to return and make an emergency landing in Salt Lake City, Utah, on July 11th.

The plane took off for Burbank, California, but had to turn back due to a crack in captain’s windshield.

Southwest Airlines Flight Makes Safe Landing after Bird Strikes

The Boeing 737-300 plane was flying from Oakland, California, when it suffered bird strikes.

Mesa Airlines Plane Returns to Arizona due to Cabin Pressurisation Problem

Mesa AirlinesMesa Airlines flight AA-5906, flying on behalf of American Airlines, had to return and make an emergency landing at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Arizona, on August 24th.

The Canadair CRJ-900 flying to Burbank, California, had to return due to problems with cabin pressurisation.

The plane landed safely.

No one was injured.

Southwest Airlines Plane Makes Emergency Landing at San Jose International Airport

southwest_airlines_logoSouthwest Airlines flight 2581 made an emergency at San Jose International Airport in San Jose, California, on June 29th.

According to airport spokesperson Rosemary Barnes, the plane, flying from Burbank, California, declared emergency due to mechanical issues.

The plane landed safely. All 96 passengers and 5 crew members remained safe.

Southwest Jets Clip Each Other at Bob Hope Airport

southwest_airlines_logoTwo Southwest Airlines jets were involved in an accident at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, California, on June 6.

Southwest Flight 2183 was parked at the gate when Flight 4721 that was pushing back from the gate, clipped wings with it.

All the passengers were disembarked safely and both aircrafts were taken for inspection. An airline spokesperson said, “Our employees are working as quickly as possible to re-accommodate all customers… Safety is our number one focus and we will conduct an internal review to identify the details surrounding event.”

The FAA is investigating.
