										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A Russian cargo plane crashed into the Bay of Bengal, off the coast of Cox&#8217;s Bazar district of Bangladesh, on March 9th.</p>
<p>The Antonov An-26 plane, belonging to True Aviation cargo service, was transporting shrimp from Cox&#8217;s Bazar airport to Jessore district, Bangladesh, when it went down. According to airport manager Sadhan Kumar, “Before the crash the pilot sent us a message saying one of the two engines of the plane went out of order&#8230; We prepared the airport for its emergency landing but the aircraft could not make its way back here.&#8221;</p>
<p>There were four Ukrainian crew members aboard at the time; three of them were killed in the crash while fourth one was injured.</p>

<p>The private helicopter went down while it was carrying five people, including the pilot and a family of four visiting from Canada.</p>
<p>All five occupants of the aircraft survived the crash. However, one of them &#8211; a 16-year-old boy- was trapped underwater and had to be extricated from his seat. He was taken to hospital in critical condition.</p>
<p>Authorities believe the helicopter belongs to tour operator Genesis Aviation.</p>

<p>According to the owner Sean Nivin Riddle, 29, all he wanted “was to shoot 5 seconds of video to promote a non-profit”. The drone ended up in a landing on the 35th floor.</p>
<p>No injuries were reported.</p>
<p>Riddle was taken into custody after the incident. <p>The helicopter was flying from Conroe and had just refueled near Bryan-College Station when the pilot noticed a hydraulic leak and decided to make an emergency landing.</p>
<p>There were two people aboard at the time; neither of them were injured.</p>

<p>The incident happened after the helicopter, carrying two people, lost power while returning to the Republic Airport. According to Frank Delia, of the Academy of Aviation, &#8220;It was a standard training flight…They were coming from the south practice area, which is off the south shore of Long Island, on their way back to Republic Airport after a successful training flight.&#8221;</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A UH-60L Blackhawk helicopter crashed in Fort Hood, Texas, on November 23.</p>
<p>Authorities said the aircraft, the 7th Battalion, went down while it was on a routine training mission.</p>
<p>There were four crew members aboard at the time; all of them were killed. They were identified as Sgt. 1st Class Toby A. Childers, 40, of Kansas; Chief Warrant Officer 3 Stephen B. Cooley, 40, of Florida; Sgt.1st Class Jason M. Smith, 35, of Louisiana; and Chief Warrant Officer 2 Michael F. Tharp, 40, of Texas. All of them were assigned to 2nd Battalion, 291st Aviation Regiment, First Army Division West.</p>
