Air Canada Plane Diverts to Japan due to Smell of Smoke
Air Canada flight AC-16 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Narita International Airport, Narita, Japan, on May 6th.
The Boeing 777-200, en-route from Hong Kong, China, to Toronto, Canada, was mid air when the crew reported smell of smoke in the cockpit, prompting the plane to divert.
The plane landed uneventfully.
All 297 people onboard remained unharmed.
