Etihad Airways Plane makes Safe Landing in India After Tyre Burst

Etihad Airways flight EY-204 made a safe landing at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai, India, on July 31st.

The Airbus A340-600 flying from Abu Dhabi, UAE, got a number of its tyres burst during the roll out.

The plane was disabled after coming to a stop on the runway.

All 196 passengers and 13 crew members remained safe.

South African Airways Flight Returns to John F. Kennedy International Airport

South African Airways flight SA-204 had to return and make an emergency landing at John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, on January 4th.

The Airbus A340-600 plane took off for Johannesburg, South Africa, but had to turn back due to an issue with flap retraction.

Lufthansa Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Munich

Lufthansa flight LH-521 made an emergency landing in Munich, Germany, on December 19th.

The Airbus A340-600 plane flying from Mexico City, Mexico, was descending toward Munich when the crew received a deflated tire indication.

The emergency services were on standby as the plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained safe.

EtihadEtihad Airways flight EY-38 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Munich Airport, Munich, Germany, on April 16th.

The Airbus A340-600, heading from Paris, France, to Abu Dhabi, UAE, was diverted after it lost cabin pressure mid-air.

Virgin Atlantic Plane Returns to Heathrow Airport after Laser Strike

Virgin Atlantic flight VS-25 had to return and make an emergency landing at Heathrow Airport in London, United Kingdom, on February 14.

The Airbus A340-600 took off for John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, but had to return shortly afterwards after the first officer became sick due to a laser strike.

The plane landed safely. There were 252 passengers and 15 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained injured.
