Thai Lion Air Plane Diverts to Thailand due to Lost Cabin Pressure

Thai Lion AirThai Lion Air flight SL-539 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Chiang Mai International Airport, Chiang Mai, Thailand, on April 10th.

The Boeing 737-900, flying from Chiang Rai to Bangkok, Thailand, was mid-air when the crew reported loss of cabin pressure, prompting the plane to divert.

The plane landed uneventfully.

Two passengers onboard experienced dizziness, whereas the rest remained unharmed.

KLM Plane Experiences Cabin Pressure Problem Mid-Air

KLMKLM flight KL-1072 had a cabin pressure problem shortly after it took off from Manchester, United Kingdom, on April 9th.

The Boeing 737-900 plane was heading to Amsterdam, Netherlands, when it experienced problems with cabin pressure. According to the airline, the oxygen masks were released for the passengers and the crew was able to restore the air conditioning system after around 13 minutes.

The plane landed safely. All 138 passengers aboard remained unhurt.

Spicejet Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Kolkata after Tire Burst

SpiceJetSpicejet flight SG 517 had to make an emergency landing in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, on March 1st.

The Boeing 737-900 plane took off from Bangalore and was en-route to Kolkata when the runway inspection crew found tire debris and informed the pilots about tire burst. The pilots in turn requested emergency assistance on arrival in Kolkata.

The plane landed safely. There were 211 passengers and 7 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.
