Indigo Airlines Flight Rejects Takeoff From Patna, India

Indigo Airlines flight 6E-508 had to reject takeoff from Patna, India, on June 30th.

The Airbus A320-200 plane was accelerating to takeoff for Delhi, India, when the crew rejected takeoff due to an engine failure.

As the plane was slowing down, the cabin and the cockpit filled with smoke, forcing the crew to initiate an emergency evacuation.

All one hundred and seventy-four people aboard remained unharmed.

American Airlines Flight Diverts to Phoenix After Bird Strike

american airlinesAmerican Airlines flight AA-713 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Phoenix, Arizona, on April 21st.

The Airbus A321-200 plane, heading from Las Vegas, Nevada, to Charlotte, North Carolina, was diverted after a windshield cracked due to bird strike.

The plane landed uneventfully. All 174 passengers and 6 crew members remained safe.

The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.
