Wizz Air Flight Rejects Take Off after Bird Strike

WizzAirWizz Air flight W6-4340 had to reject take off from Memmingen, Germany, on September 25th.

The plane was accelerating to take off for Sofia, Bulgaria, when a bird hit it, prompting the crew to reject take off.

The plane, carrying 143 passengers, safely returned to the apron.

The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.

American Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing due to Disruptive Passenger

American EagleAmerican Airlines Flight 2542 had to make an emergency landing at Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport in Lubbock, Texas, on September 22nd.

The plane heading from Ontario, California, to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Texas, was diverted after a passenger started yelling and banging on the cockpit door.

The plane landed safely. The disruptive passenger, identified as 24-year-old Jerry Nguyen, was arrested.

The flight resumed with the remaining 143 people onboard.

Southwest Airlines Plane Returns to Maryland after Tyre Burst

The Boeing 737-700, en-route to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, had just departed Baltimore’s runway when the crew was informed about rubber debris found on the runway.

The plane landed with both right hand main tyres deflated and torn.

All 143 passengers onboard remained unharmed.

The passengers were accommodated in a replacement plane.

Allegiant Air Plane Diverts to Florida after Encountering Turbulence; 5 Injured

AllegiantAllegiant Air flight G4-7001 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Fort Lauderdale – Hollywood International Airport, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on May 5th.

The Airbus A319-100, heading from Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, to Pittsburgh, was mid-air above Atlantic Ocean when it encountered turbulence, prompting the plane to divert.

The plane landed uneventfully.

The turbulence caused minor injuries to 5 out of 143 people aboard. The injured were treated at the airport.

Southwest Airlines Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Wichita
