United Airlines plane Diverts to Canada after Cracked Windshield
United Airlines flight UA-162 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Gander International Airport, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, on December 31.
The Boeing 757-200, flying from Glasgow, Scotland, to Newark, New Jersey, had to divert after its windshield cracked mid-air.
The plane landed safely.
All 164 people aboard remained safe.
