    Envoy Air flight MQ-3322 had to make an emergency landing in Sioux City, Iowa, on May 22nd.

    The plane flying from Chicago, Illinois, was descending toward Sioux City when the crew declared an emergency, reporting an engine problem.

    The plane landed safely. There were 46 people aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.

    Envoy AirEnvoy Air flight MQ-3526 had to divert for an emergency landing in Kansas City, Missouri, on November 29th.

    The Embraer ERJ-145 plane was heading from Sioux City, Iowa, to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Texas, when the crew reported that the flaps could not be fully retracted.

    The plane was diverted to Kansas City where it landed safely.

    All 45 people aboard remained unharmed.

    An Air cargo plane had to divert and make an emergency landing at Mitchell Municipal Airport, Mitchell, South Dakota, on the night of October 11th.

    The Fairchild Metro Three Turbopop en-route from Minot, North Dakota, to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, was mid-air when it encountered an engine problem.

    The plane landed uneventfully.

    The pilot, who was the only person aboard, remained unharmed.

    American Airlines Flight Diverts to Waterloo, IA

    American Airlines Flight 3047 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Waterloo, Iowa, on February 18.

    According to the airline, the plane, en-route from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to Chicago, Illinois, had to be diverted after odor was reported in the cabin.

    The plane landed safely. There were 26 passengers aboard at the time; none of them were harmed.

    The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.
