    Plane Makes Emergency Landing on Grass Airstrip in Harpswell Neck

    A small plane made an emergency landing after running out of fuel on the evening of May 25 on a grass airstrip in Harpswell Neck, Maine.

    The Washington D.C. -bound, single-engine plane landed in the area of Route 123, which is also known as Harpswell Neck Road and Basin Cove Road. According to Lt. John Faith of Brunswick Fire department, the rescue unit responded immediately, but the occupants of the plane refused to be taken to the hospital.

    The plane was slightly damaged.

    Two Killed in Single Engine Plane Crash in Shiawassee County

    A single engine plane crashed in Shiawassee County, Michigan on Saturday, 19th April 2014 afternoon at around 2 p.m.

    The plane crashed in a field near Potter road and M-13, near Genesee County border

    According to the County sheriff, two lives were lost in the incident. The deceased have been identified as Richard Kenneth Hayward, 63 and Mark James Kozan, 49. The victims belonged to Vassar and Caro respectively.

    The two seater CJ-6A plane was registered to Haywards Aviation in Tuscola County.

    FAA and Shiawassee police is investigating the cause of accident.

    Father Dies, Daughter and Schoolmate Injured in Round Lake Plane Crash

    A single-engine small plane en-route from Chicago to St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport crashed on March 22, near McMullen Booth Road and Enterprise Road in Clearwater, Florida.

    The 53-year-old pilot, Jeffrey Bronken, was killed in the crash. Katherine Bronken, Jeffrey Bronken’s daughter, and Keyana Linbo, her classmate, both 15-year-olds from Round Lake were injured.

    Drivers are advised to avoid the area of McMullen Booth Road and Enterprise Road. The investigation by the Sheriff’s deputies and the FAA is underway.
