Couple from Kansas Dies in Missouri Plane Crash

A small plane crashed in a field near Branson West Airport, Missouri, on December 17th.

The Incident happened when the Piper Cherokee plane was carrying two people.

Both occupants of the plane were killed in the crash. They were identified as the pilot Keith M. Curtis, 52, and Dawn Curtis, 45, both from of Gardner, Kansas.

The FAA and the NTSB are investigating.

Bad Weather Diverts Piper Cherokee to Parsonsfield

A single-engine Piper Cherokee had to divert and make an emergency landing at Province Lake Golf Course, Parsonsfield, Maine, at 7:50 A.M. on July 18.

The plane, en-route from Waterville/Kings County Municipal Airport, Canada, to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, had to be landed in emergency due to fog and heavy rain.

The plane landed safely. The sheriff’s department confirmed that the pilot, identified as Gary Soucy, 66, remained unhurt.

The FAA was notified.

Why: The engine of a school plane failed as the plane heading toward Delta’s Boundary Bay airport Vancouver. Thanks to the instructor, the plane landed safely with no injuries
