KLM flight KL-565 had to return and make an emergency landing in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on January 16th.

The Boeing 747-400 plane took off for Nairobi, Kenya, but had to turn back after a loose part was observed on a wing.

The plane landed back safely. All 376 people aboard remained unharmed.

United Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in San Francisco

United Airlines flight UA-892 made an emergency landing in San Francisco, California, on January 3rd.

The Boeing 747-400 plane was flying from Seoul, South Korea, when the crew entered a hold, reporting a loose flap track fairing cover.

The plane continued for a safe landing. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

Sriwijaya Air Plane Sustains Damage While Landing in Surabaya, Indonesia

The plane performing flight SJ-565 from Makassar, Indonesia, sustained substantial damage to the lower fuselage due to loose asphalt on the runway.

Southwest Airlines Plane Diverts to Milwaukee

Southwest Airlines flight WN-4187 had to make an emergency landing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on May 30th.

The plane, heading from Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Denver, Colorado, was diverted after the crew reported an unusual odor in the cabin.

The plane landed safely. All 133 people aboard remained unhurt.

Mechanics found that a small loose hose was the source of odor.

According to the resident Monica Savath, she was with her family in the living room when they heard a loud bang. Upon checking, they found a hole in the garage’s roof and shattered ice.

Fortunately, no one was injured.

According to National Weather Service meteorologist Jim Mathews, it could be a loose frozen vapor from an aircraft.
