A Delta flight from LaGuardia to Savannah made an emergency landing at Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah, Georgia, at around 3:45 p.m. on August 8.
The air traffic control diverted the plane after it started to run on low fuel.
The plane landed safely and all 155 passengers aboard remained unharmed.
The passengers were off loaded at the Prescott Air Terminal while the aircraft was taken for refuelling. Hunter officials said the plane will continue to the Savannah Airport after refuelling.
