    Bird-Hit Allegiant Air Flight Returns to Chicago Rockford International Airport

    Allegiant Air flight G4-1671 had to return for an emergency landing at Chicago Rockford International Airport, Illinois, on December 15th.

    The plane took off for Punta Gorda, Florida, but had to turn back after it ingested several birds into one of the engines.

    The plane landed back safely. All 177 passengers and 6 crew members remained unharmed.

    Two Killed after Small Plane Crashes in Ohio

    A small plane crashed in Turtlecreek Township, Warren County, Ohio, on October 16th.

    The plane, carrying two people, went down in a wooded area near the YMCA Camp Kern.

    Both occupants of the plane were killed in the crash. They were identified as Eric Hackney, 43, and Jesse Loy, 36. Both of them were from Punta Gorda, Florida.

    The cause of crash is being investigated.
