Pegasus Airlines and UTAir Plane Escape Collision in Russia

Pegasus Airlines flight PC-884 and UTAir flight UT-561 receive and follow TCAS resolution advisories and escaped collision at Domodedovo International Airport, Moscow Oblast, Russia, on November 2nd.

UTair The Boeing 737-800 (Pegasus Airlines) en-route from Turkey to Russia, was about to land maintaining FL-120 route, however, it descended to FL-110. The Boeing 737-500 (UTAir) was about to take-off from FL-110 for Grozny, Russia, at the time.

Both aircrafts landed safely at their destinations.

Pilot Survives Small Plane Crash in New Mexico after Engine Glitch

A small plane crashed in a farmland in Bloomfield, New Mexico, on the morning of October 28th.

The Cirrus SR22 encountered engine malfunction mid-air and crashed shortly afterward.

The pilot, who was the only person onboard, rescued himself through a parachute and escaped without injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.

Atlas Air Plane Emergency Escape Slide Hits House in Phoenix

A private Atlas Air plane’s emergency escape slide detached mid-air and fell on the top of a house in Mesa, Arizona, Phoenix, on March 30th.

The Boeing 767, heading to Sky Harbor Airport, Phoenix, was mid-air when the crew was told that the emergency slide over the right wing had deployed.

The plane landed safely, whereas the house suffered minor damage.

The incident is under investigation.
