Emirates Airways Flight Diverts to India after Medical Emergency
Emirates Airways flight EK346 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Chennai International Airport, Chennai, India, on September 4.
The plane, flying from Dubai to Kuala-Lampur, Malaysia, was diverted after a 61-year-old person aboard suffered a heart attack mid-air.
The plane landed safely and all 116 passengers aboard remained unhurt.
The flight resumed after the sick person was transferred to hospital.
