<p>The Avions de Transport Regional ATR-42-500 flying from Chitral to Islamabad, Pakistan, crashed due to the failure of its left engine. The plane had lost control with the radar shortly before it hit the ground.</p>
<p>The wreckage caught fire right after the crash.</p>
<p>There were 42 passengers and 6 crew members aboard at the time. All of them were killed.</p>
<p>The black boxes have been recovered and handed over to Pakistan&#8217;s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).</p>

<p>The single engine PAC 750 plane took off from Nepalgunj and was heading to Jumla when it developed some technical problems and went down. Authorities said the plane lost contact with the control tower just 11 minutes after take off.</p>
<p>There were 11 people aboard at the time, including the pilot Dinesh Neupane, the co-pilot Santosh Rana, and nine passengers. The pilot and the co-pilot were killed in the crash while the passengers were injured.</p>
<p>The injured were airlifted to Nepalgunj Medical College.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A small plane crashed into Setauket Harbor, Long Island Sound, New York, on February 20.</p>
<p>The Piper PA-28 was flying from Massachusetts when it lost engine power, prompting the pilots to make a crash-landing.</p>
<p>There were four people aboard at the time, including the student pilot Austricio Ramirez who was flying the plane when it began experiencing issues, and the instructor pilot Nelson Gomez who took over the control afterwards and landed the plane in Setauket Harbor.</p>
<p>Authorities said Ramirez, Gomez, and a third passenger Wady Perez were rescued by the officers. The fourth person, identified as 23-year-old Gerson Salmon-Negron, remains missing.</p>
