Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing at Danbury Municipal Airport

A small plane made an emergency landing at Danbury Municipal Airport in Connecticut, on April 25.

Authorities said the pilot requested an emergency landing due to possible electrical fault in the aircraft.

The plane landed uneventfully and no injuries were reported.

The incident is being investigated.

Republic Airlines Jet Makes Emergency Landing at Bradley International Airport

Republic airlinesRepublic Airlines flight 3880 had to make an emergency landing at Bradley International Airport in Hartford County, Connecticut, on April 2.

The plane, heading from Newark, New Jersey, to Burlington, Vermont, had to be diverted after the pilot reported engine problems.

The plane landed uneventfully and all 71 passengers and 4 crew members remained unhurt.

The aircraft was taken for inspection while the airline arranged alternate transport for passengers.

Small Plane Made Emergency Landing at Sikorsky Airport

Sikorsky_Memorial_Airport_LogoA small twin-engine plane, owned by Gama Aviation, made an emergency landing at Sikorsky Memorial Airport in Stratford, Connecticut, shortly before 8 a.m. on December 3.

The pilot decided to return after one of the engines of the plane stopped working just 10 minutes into the flight.

The plane landed uneventfully and all 7 people aboard remained unharmed.

Small Plane Lands in Emergency on Hartford Busway

small planeA single-engine plane made an emergency landing on the CTFastrak busway on New Park Avenue, West Hartford, Connecticut, at around 3:15 p.m. on November 29.

It appears that the plane, which was flying from Robertson Airport, Plainville, lost engine power while attempting to land at Hartford-Brainard Airport.

The pilot, identified as Danny Hall, of Torrington, remained uninjured.

The FAA is investigating.
