Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing on Interstate 95 in Florida

A Piper Cherokee PA-28 plane made an emergency landing on Interstate 95 in Vero Beach, Florida, on January 30th.

The pilot said he was forced to land in emergency due to fuel exhaustion. The plane was flying from St. Lucie County International Airport at the time.

The pilot, who was the only one aboard, remained unharmed.

The incident is under investigation.

Two Killed as Small Plane Crashes into Lake Worth Mobile Home Park

A Piper Cherokee 180 aircraft crashed into Mar Mak Colony Club mobile home park in Lake Worth, Florida, on October 13.

Authorities said the plane went down while it was en-route from Orlando to Lantana, Florida.

Two people were killed in the crash, including the pilot and a person in the mobile home.

The NTSB is investigating the cause of crash.

Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Orange County

A small Piper Cherokee plane made an emergency landing at Red Hill and McGaw avenues in Irvine, Orange County, California, on September 16.

Authorities said the plane, owned by Orange Coast College, came to rest at MacArthur Boulevard near John Wayne Airport.

There were 2 people, including a student pilot and an instructor, aboard at the time; none of them reported any injuries.

The FAA is looking into the cause of crash.
