Delta Operated Jet Makes Emergency Landing at Burlington
A Canadair regional jet 200, operated by Delta Airlines, returned and made an emergency landing at Burlington International Airport at about 5:30 p.m. on July 24.
The incident happened when the flight was heading to Detroit from Burlington International Airport in Burlington, Vermont.
Heather Bowman, operations specialist at the airport said the aircraft developed some mechanical problem and the pilot felt “unknown vibrations” in the plane.
The plane landed safely and no one was hurt. It was briefly inspected after landing.
