Air Algerie Plane Returns to Algeria due to Fuel Filter Contamination
Air Algerie flight AH-1020 had to return and make a precautionary landing at Algiers International Airport, Algiers, Algeria, on August 6th.
The Boeing 737-600 en-route to Marseille, France, had to return shortly after the crew detected a contaminated fuel filter, reporting they had to shut down its engine.
The plane landed safely.
All 97 people onboard remained unharmed.
