Southwest Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Cayman Islands

Southwest Airlines flight WN-607 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, on April 13th.

The Boeing 737-700 plane heading from San Jose, Costa Rica, to Baltimore, Maryland, was diverted after an electrical odor was noticed in the cabin.

The plane landed safely. There were 123 passengers and 5 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.

Delta Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Dayton

250px-Delta_logo.svgDelta Airlines flight DL-2392 had to return for an emergency landing in Dayton, Ohio, on December 6th.

The plane took off for Atlanta, Georgia, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew reported failure of right engine.

The plane landed safely. There were 123 passengers and 6 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained safe.

American Airlines Flight Diverts to LAX

american airlinesAmerican Airlines Flight 123 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Los Angeles International Airport, California, on September 18.

The plane, heading from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, Texas to Honolulu, Hawaii, was diverted after the pilot noticed a mechanical issue.

The plane landed safely on runway 25-R. All 216 passengers remained unhurt.
