<p>The Boeing 757-200, flying from Saint Thomas, Virgin Islands, to Atlanta, Georgia, had to divert after one of its engines ingested a bird. The engine had to be shut down mid-air.</p>
<p>The plane landed safely.</p>

<p>The pilot’s body was found on Saturday morning. He was identified as Luis Pabon Rivera, 48.</p>
