										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On Feb 17, 2013, an American Airlines McDonnell Douglas MD-83 en route from Dallas Ft Worth to La Guardia (NYC), aborted an approach and made a safe landing on the second attempt. The plane was about to land and dealing with windy conditions when it lost its flight control system.  </p>
<p>The same plane had been reported with electrical problems two days before.</p>
<p>On landing, the pilots were reported to be complaining to maintenance crews about the repairs.</p>
