<p>The incident happened when the flight WN-1380 was heading from LaGuardia Airport, New York, to Dallas, Texas.</p>
<p>The crew subsequently initiated an emergency descent and diverted to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.</p>
<p>Passengers reported that the deceased passenger, identified as Jennifer Riordan, 43, was partially sucked out of the aircraft through the shattered window. <p>The passenger jet was en-route from Dublin, Ireland to Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris, France when one of its windows cracked. The pilot reported the issue to the control tower shortly before 6:30 p.m.</p>
<p>The Avro RJ85 plane landed uneventfully and none of the 86 passengers and crew members was harmed.</p>

<p>The emergency landing was made after a crack was noticed in the cockpit window of the Boeing 747 which had 273 passengers and 21 crew members aboard at the time.</p>
<p>The pilot, Ivtas Dejkunjorn, safely landed the plane and no one was hurt.</p>
<p>An airport spokeswoman said, “Passengers have already been cleared through immigration and have been put up in hotels near the airport for the night.”</p>

<p>The plane touched down at 09:03 UTC. All passengers and crew members were safely evacuated.
