<p>The Piper PA-32R-300, carrying 2 passengers and the pilot, had its engine sputtering before it went down.</p>
<p>All three people miraculously survived the crash with no injuries whereas the plane burst into flames.</p>

<p>Authorities said the pilot was attempting to land at Sarasota–Bradenton International Airport but could not make it. According to airport spokesperson Lionel Guilbert, “He descended. He said his engine started sputtering and at about 900 feet. The engine just quit altogether.”</p>
<p>The plane landed without incident. The pilot, identified as flight instructor Thomas Frick, remained unhurt.</p>
