										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A small plane made an emergency landing in Tennessee River at Decatur, Alabama, on April 7th.</p>
<p>The pilot of the small seaplane said he was doing some survey work for a proposed water pipeline when the aircraft’s battery failed, forcing him to make an emergency landing.</p>
<p>Both occupants of the plane, including the pilot Peter Serodino, of Chattanooga, and his only passenger, remained unharmed.</p>

<p>According to Broward Sheriff&#8217;s Office officials, the pilot forgot to extend gear before landing the Cessna 208 aircraft. The plane skidded down the runway before coming to halt. </p>
<p>None of the two people aboard was injured in the accident.</p>

<p>The Brevard County sheriff&#8217;s office confirmed that the pilot decided to make an emergency landing after the seaplane developed some engine problems. </p>
<p>The pilot remained uninjured. His identity has not yet been disclosed. </p>
<p>The red-colored plane is registered to a Virginia Beach resident Charles Guiter.</p>
