<p>The aircraft, piloted by one of the first female fighter pilots in the country, was participating in a routine training exercise when it went down.</p>
<p>The pilot Yu Xu, 30, was killed in the crash while her co-pilot was able to eject before the impact using a parachute. He was injured and was taken to hospital.</p>

<p>The single engine PAC 750 plane took off from Nepalgunj and was heading to Jumla when it developed some technical problems and went down. Authorities said the plane lost contact with the control tower just 11 minutes after take off.</p>
<p>There were 11 people aboard at the time, including the pilot Dinesh Neupane, the co-pilot Santosh Rana, and nine passengers. The pilot and the co-pilot were killed in the crash while the passengers were injured.</p>
<p>The injured were airlifted to Nepalgunj Medical College.</p>

<p>Delcy Rodriguez, Venezuela’s top diplomat, said, “Adverse weather conditions led to this unfortunate accident. We thank Colombian authorities who provided support to the officers.”</p>
<p>There were two people aboard the Bell helicopter at the time; including the pilot and the co-pilot. Both of them were injured in the crash. They were taken to hospitals in Venezuela.</p>

<p>The co-pilot of the Airbus A320, en-route from Phoenix to Boston, diverted to Syracuse after the the pilot, Capt. Michael Johnston, 57, of Utah, suffered a heart attack and passed away mid-air.</p>
<p>The plane landed safely. There were 147 passengers aboard at the time; all of them remained unhurt.</p>

<p>The Dutch co-pilot Peter Esberte, 47 lost consciousness just 20 minutes after the Boeing 737-900 aircraft took off. The pilot then decided to return to Hat Yai airport where he made an emergency landing at 1:21 p.m.</p>
<p>Esberte later died on the way to hospital from the airport. The cause of death is not yet known, however, the Aeronautical Radio of Thailand (Aerothai) said Esberte died of a heart attack.</p>
<p>Worawut Kongkositkul, in-charge of flight operations for the low cost airline, said that Esberte joined the airline last year at its launch and was completely healthy.</p>
