<p>There were 153 passengers and 6 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.</p>

<p>According to Trooper Tim Cunningham of the State Highway Patrol&#8217;s Cambridge post, &#8220;He [the pilot] landed the plane and just began taxiing… A gust of wind came and lifted the plane back into the air. He attempted to correct the plane using more power. The plane then overturned.&#8221;</p>
<p>The pilot, identified as Daniel Johnston, 65, remained unharmed. </p>
<p>Authorities said the aircraft ended up in an upside down position in a ditch near the runway. </p>

<p>According to the airport authorities, &#8220;An outbound aircraft Saab 340 aircraft operated by Loganair veered off the runway at Stornoway Airport at 8.33am this morning…It is it our intention to resume normal operations as soon as the aircraft is safely removed from the runway.
